when it comes to this topic, there ain't much more to say on
i love her everyday like otaku love k-on

i guess lately, all i do is make her rage
i post up my thoughts and she then replies "sage"
i'd blame it on the distance, but that's only half
the other part is me, that's the actual math
i got her variable wrong - i miss calculated
did the wrong things so she recalcitrated
the "love you"s are there at the phone call finish
but i know each failure can only diminish

the odds and i'm already pretty upset
cause i'm never one to play a game of roulette
but i'm so confident that we can win the day
that i could be shinji and she could be rei
or asuka actually, in fact i'd prefer
she does as she pleases, she's quite similar
and if i'm too shinji with my lack of spine
she's a free agent, though i wish she was mine
